The Company was incorporated on 26th June, 1980 as a Public Limited Company under the Companies Act, 1956 in the state of west Bengal. The certificate of commencement of Business was issued by the Registrar of Companies on 22nd July, 1980.

The Company has been promoted to do business as per Memorandum and Articles of the Company.

The Companies object is to carry on the business of manufacturers, exporters, importers and dealers in engineering goods, both ferrous and non-ferrous, including electrical, electronics and machinery goods and iron and steel materials.

Vitesse Agro Limited also plans to carry out the business of manufacturers, exporters, importers, dealers of chemicals including wholesaler and retail chemists and druggist, heavy chemicals, drugs, essences, cordials, fertilizers, insecticides, acids, alkalies, pharmaceuticals, medicinal and industrial chemicals and other such chemicals and Petrochemical preparations and also dealers of all kind of textile yarns, jute, cotton, wool, silk, rayon, nylon and other synthetic fibers and textiles, paper and paper products and other agricultural products.
